JB Sol & The Blue News (formerly Blue News) is an indie band known for their blend of rock, blues, and folk. Formed in 2005 in midwestern US town of West Terre Haute, Indiana the band gained recognition for their emotive lyrics and engaging live performances and high-profile song placements in tv, video games and film. Since their debut album, “Blue News”, released by Statue Records Hollywood in 2006, they have continued to resonate with fans in the contemporary music scene. The Blue News draws inspiration from a wide range of genres, including classic rock, blues, and Americana. Their music often explores themes of love, loss, and the complexities of modern life, resonating with listeners on both emotional and intellectual levels. Released under their own indie label, Blame Records USA, the band has accumulated over 3 million streams on Spotify and YouTube since 2016 and fans can hear their song “Come Back Home” in the movie ‘Force of Execution’ starring Steven Segal, Ving Rhames and Danny Trejos.
